Talk: Design, disruption and change
A reflection on how to break with the predictable in design in order to open new possibilities. Disruption understood as a tool for questioning formulas, exploring other references, experimenting with processes and building from a queer, inclusive and critical point of view, one able to generate change and emotion.
Gina Guasch
Gina Guasch Team is a queer creative and design studio founded in 2019 in Barcelona by Gina Guasch.
The studio’s mission is to bring a feminist, inclusive and ethical perspective to every project we work on. Specialized in the music, art, design, culture and fashion industries, GGT always looks to bring a measure of strangeness through an analog, experimental, playful and rebellious approach to design.
We are also co-founders of the queer electronic music collective MARICAS, which has gained international recognition thanks to its innovative approach to club culture.
Our structure works as an open, cross-cutting workspace that makes it easy for outside artists and collaborators to take part according to the particularities of each project. We are inspired by constant change, emotions and underground movements.
