Workshop Impossible visiøn: creative process laboratories

Mariale Ariceta (UY), Casiopea Lab11.09 — 08:30–12:30

Are we in contexts of creative emergency? Which im/possible imaginaries are in tension? How do we get from an impulse to a careful, considered project? Looking for tools and new processes, you are invited to recognize and build together a Creative First Aid Kit.

The workshop calls on restless people and facilitators of creative processes, through reflections and exercises, to explore the forms and stages of creation itself: methods, cartographies, references, discomforts, personal archives, hacks, prompts, index cards, strategies, procedures, triggers, exercises, games, routines, diagrams, motivators, reflections, systems, formats, questions, ideas and the endless forms that can make up a path and a living body of material that invites you to create projects.

Visiøn imposible is a set of creative-process laboratories. The book Imposible hasta que no (Mariale Ariceta, 2016) is the starting point. The initiative invited people to turn impulses into projects through a process of graphic exercises, games, questions and methodologies that stimulate imagination, reflection and self-knowledge, bringing the playful dimension together with the capacity to diagnose and plan.

Today, ten years after its publication, Visiøn Imposible takes up that essence again, adds what it has learned and experienced along the way, and projects it toward present-day challenges through syncretism and sustainability. The project sets itself up as a laboratory for creating open tools and free methodologies to inspire regenerative processes and emerging imaginaries, connecting creativity and common action.
